“四川銀幣”是辛亥革命時期的產(chǎn)物。1911年12月發(fā)生“成都兵變”，以尹昌衡、羅綸為正副都督的四川軍取代了成立僅12天的大漢四川軍。新的四川軍成立之初即面臨著需用日繁、度支日絀的財政困窘局面。
四川軍迅速接管了四川成都造幣廠，決定鑄造“四川銀幣”以應(yīng)急。民國元年（1912年）4月，四川成都造幣廠奉四川軍之命，開模鑄造“軍造四川銀幣”（也稱“漢”字銀元）。由于歷經(jīng)百年風(fēng)雨，存世量極為稀少，尤其是品相好的更為稀缺，因此很受收藏愛好者青睞。

The Sichuan Army quickly took over the Chengdu Mint and decided to coin "Sichuan Silver Coin" for emergency. In April of the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the Chengdu Mint of Sichuan, under the orders of the Sichuan Army, opened moulds to cast "military Sichuan silver coins" (also known as "Han" silver coins). Because after a hundred years of storms and hardships, the stock is extremely scarce, especially the better quality is more scarce, so it is very popular with collectors.
