宣統元寶是清朝貨幣名，是宣統年間發行的宣統年號銀圓。宣統三年大清銀幣為前清之正式國幣，原期辛亥十月發行。尚未發行，武昌事起，國體忽變。已經趕往度支部之銀幣成為北洋兩鎮鎮壓武昌新軍之餉。而寧廠所存銀幣（原期上海同期發行）及鄂廠所存之部分銀幣成為普通流通銀幣的一種。

此枚宣統元寶庫平七錢二分，乃是雲南省造。錢幣珠圈中鑄有“宣統元寶”四個繁體楷體字，外圈則頂部環繞著“雲南省造”四個小字，底部鑄“庫平七錢二分”幣值，頂部與底部之間，印有一枚小花用于過渡，背面珠圈內鑄有蟠龍圖，上鑄有英文云南省，下鑄有英文庫平七錢二分幣值。蟠龍龍鱗有序，顆粒可見，龍紋細膩，龍眼凸起，炯炯有神，鼻梁上翹，威武霸氣，彰顯皇家威嚴。幣面整體品相良好，且具有較高的審美價值，尤其是當時造幣機紛紛選用的是來自于英國倫敦伯明翰造幣有限公司的機器，更給幣面的設計帶來一種精致的美感。

Panlong's scales are orderly, granules are visible, the Dragon lines are delicate, longan is prominent, bright and spiritual, nose bridge is up-warped, majestic and domineering, highlighting the Royal majesty. The overall quality of the coin surface is good, and has a high aesthetic value, especially when the mint machines used in the past were selected from the London coinage Co., Ltd., which brought a fine aesthetic feeling to the design of the coin surface.
