A brief introduction to the stamps for the parade
The full set of four copies of the tickets, in the form of stamps, shows the grand scenes of the 14 National Day parades held in the 60 years after the founding of the people's Republic of China. The first to fourth volumes are 1949-1959, 1984, 1999 and 2009 respectively. The contents of the collection cover 71 editions of special format flag stamps, totaling 323; "60th Anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China", a set of 4 new stamps and 1 stamp sheetlet.
大閱兵郵票發(fā)行背景
直到一九八四年，根據(jù)鄧小平的提議，中央決定恢復(fù)閱兵，并于一九八四年國(guó)慶三十五周年時(shí)舉行大型的國(guó)慶閱兵式。一九九九年，黨中央決定在天安門廣場(chǎng)舉行盛大的世紀(jì)閱兵式,慶祝祖國(guó)五十年華誕。閱兵是展現(xiàn)武裝力量建設(shè)成就，樹立民族自信心和自豪感的重要形式。一般而言，閱兵包括兩部分，一是閱兵式，即閱兵者從受閱部隊(duì)隊(duì)列前通過(guò)，進(jìn)行檢閱;二是分列式，即受閱部隊(duì)列隊(duì)從檢閱臺(tái)前通過(guò)，接受閱兵者的檢閱。
Background of issuing stamps for the parade
