藏品簡介：光緒十五年(1889年)，兩廣總督張之洞在廣東設造幣廠籌備鑄造銀元。次年四月初二，廣東正式開鑄了新式中國龍洋。由于“重量足，成色佳，且鑄造精美，紋飾圖案更富中國傳統色彩，也就普遍為人所采用。”此后，各省紛紛設廠自鑄，形成一股浪潮。在內地的影響下，再加上民間的強烈要求，新疆就在各地先后開鑄銀元了。當時喀什噶爾地方富庶，道庫存銀最多，因此，新疆鑄造成套的光緒銀元從喀什地區開始。此枚銀幣上方為“喀什”兩字，中間為“光緒元寶”四字，下方為“伍錢”，幣面無花紋圖案，背蟠龍造形威武，鑄造精美。再加上此.枚錢幣正反面錯位九十度更加難得。
