方孔錢是我國古代錢幣的俗稱。方孔錢中間有方孔的圓形錢幣，由環形錢演變而來，成為我國古代銅錢的固定形式。方孔錢以秦的半兩錢為最早，民國的“民國通寶”銅幣最晚。這種錢在我國沿用了2000多年。
