After the victory of 1911 Revolution, Emperor Qing abdicated and the Republic of China was founded. Sun Yat-sen, the pioneer of China's democratic revolution, took office as the interim president of the Republic of China, and in the promulgation of the "interim presidential decree" proposed that "a new model should be published to coin commemorative coins". In 1914, the copper coin was officially renamed "copper coin". The biggest difference between the copper coin issued by the Republic of China and the Qing Dynasty was that the dragon pattern was replaced by the Jiahe grain composed of rice ears. Most of the copper coins cast in the provinces are flags crossed on two sides, with the words "Founding Commemorative Coin" or "Republic of China Copper Coin".
[Title of Collection]: Baiwen Bian in the Second Year of the Republic of China
[Category]: Coins
In 1913, Hu Jingyi, then governor of the Sichuan Military Government, continued to forge the "Han" coins, while adding 200 large copper yuan weighing 7 yuan. The face value of the direct book "Baiwen" in the coin center is separated by Jiasui pattern on both sides, with the year number "Two Years of the Republic of China" on the top and the name "Made by Sichuan Mint" on the bottom, and the Cross stars on the left and right. At the back of the coin, there are two cross-flag pictures, outer ring bead circle, upper and lower edges in English, Republic of China and 200 languages. It was also the only English currency used in Sichuan Copper Yuan during the Republic of China. Since the National Government issued a unified coin model later, local coins stopped being mined and distributed, so the amount of coins minted was small and the circulation time was short, which was quite precious.
Dual-flag coins were first coined in the Republic of China, which only existed for several decades in Chinese history. Therefore, during the period of unrest and frequent civil wars, coins can still be preserved intact after endless years, which is not easy, and has a high value of cultural relics collection and historical and cultural value. Value and value of art appreciation. Although there were many versions of coins in the period of the Republic of China, such authentic commemorative coins with the front inscribed in italics and the back printed with the two-sided banner of the Republic of China are rare in today's coin collection market.
The founder of the copper direct reel version of Baiwen red with double banners should be a local warlord in Sichuan Province. In the early years of the Republic of China, the trend of coinage making by Sichuan warlords setting up factories privately was not yet on the rise, that is, a few of them were not yet large-scale, mostly for the purchase of hand-operated machines and small-scale casting, and their engraving, plate-making and casting techniques could not be compared with those of Chengdu and Chongqing Mints. Therefore, the stock of the two hundred bronze direct-reel edition of double banners made by foundry workers is very small, even less than that of the brass direct-reel edition. Both red and brass versions can be divided into several small formats according to the size of spikes, the length of awns, and the density of grains.

In the middle of the back is the bead circle. Two flags are cast and painted inside the bead circle. The words "The REPUBOIC. OF.
