袁大頭為辛亥革命后袁世凱為了解決軍費(fèi)和提高個(gè)人政治地位而發(fā)行，因這些銀元鑄有他的側(cè)身圖像而得名。此枚中華民國(guó)三年袁大頭為甘肅版本，銀幣正面中央圖案為袁世凱戎裝左側(cè)面像，雕刻極其精細(xì)，連細(xì)小的毛發(fā)亦清晰可見，頭像上方為“中華民國(guó)三年”六字，民字帶一點(diǎn)，“甘肅”二字橫穿左右。字體清秀，灑脫自然，筆畫剛勁有力。袁大頭在貨幣收藏界素有“銀元之寶”之稱，它是中國(guó)近千種近代銀幣中影響最大的銀元品種，也是近代中國(guó)幣制變革中的一個(gè)重要角色。背面兩條嘉禾左右交互，下系結(jié)帶，紋飾線條流暢自然，浮雕感強(qiáng)烈，中鑄“壹圓”字樣。包漿自然，流通使用痕跡明顯，品相較好，值得收藏。
