此觀音像形體清瘦，頭戴寶冠，方臉男容，面帶笑意，右臂下垂，手持凈瓶的形狀，左臂上彎，手握柳條，身披天衣，臂繞飄帶，下著羅裙，頸掛項圈，胸垂瓔珞，手套腕釧，跣足立于地之上。造像材質為銅。通高29厘米。造像，整體氣韻生動，線條圓潤流暢，法相莊嚴慈祥，特別是面部，笑意親和自然，是不可多得的佛像藝術珍品，此像的形像是一個男人，這與現在供奉的雍容的女相觀音菩薩截然不同。其實觀世音菩薩源于印度，本是個男子。在我國唐朝以前觀世音的形像都是男相的，直至北宋中期以后女相的觀音菩薩才漸漸多了起來。此像即是觀音菩薩本為男子的有力實證。
