該組藏品為戶部造光緒元寶和河北省造光緒元寶，正面圈內(nèi)鑄有銘文“光緒元寶”，珠圈外鑄楷體“湖北省造”或“戶部”，底部鑄貨幣價值：“當(dāng)十”或“當(dāng)制錢二十文”，中心為六星。元寶背面內(nèi)圈鑄有神龍騰飛圖騰，外圈鑄有英文，品相精致，其審美風(fēng)格獨特。錢幣雖小，也可管窺當(dāng)時社會文化一斑。其確實風(fēng)格獨特，文化內(nèi)涵豐富，是不可多得的珍稀之品。正面文字清秀俊美，大氣磅礴，背面龍紋打造深峻清晰，包漿自然，鑄造精湛。稍有綠銹但并不影響品相，平添幾分滄桑的歷史韻味，相輔相成、相得益彰，極具收藏價值,藏品鑄工精美，它有著歷史熏陶，是價值很高的革命文物，具有深遠的歷史紀念意義；同時，還是考古和研究中國歷史文化難得的實物。
