該觀音像底框為3.939厘米，高10.857厘米。本尊觀音像異常華麗，束發高髻，面相方正，臉頰豐圓，眉眼上挑，下視云云眾生，眉間飾白毫，面容秀美，神態安詳。菩薩身著天衣綢裙雙肩披帔帛，帔帛從肩部垂于手臂內側，然并從內側折回向外搭在手腕上，極富裝飾意味。菩薩手和足皆飾釧躅，雙手抱凈瓶于胸前，舒坐于雙層仰覆蓮臺上。仰覆蓮瓣秀長飽滿有力，整像造型優美，工藝細膩考究，像身比例舒適，手、腳等細部極具寫實性，既符合西藏佛像的相好標準，又融匯了漢地的審美觀念和傳統表現形式，屬于是佛像中的代表之作。
