此塊貴州龍化石通長28.3厘米，上寬19.4厘米，下寬：19.6cm，在灰玄色薄層狀泥質(zhì)灰?guī)r的包裹中，龍頭呈三角形，肋骨根根清晰，脊椎、骨骼完整無損，體態(tài)自然，栩栩如生，龍尾壓在一根圓木上。石板上躺著一條動物骨骼形體，骨骼痕跡清晰，四爪利落，形體紋路呈帶狀漫衍，細膩小巧，頭部與龍尾呈近90度曲折。不妨意料，貴州龍是在爬行中被瞬間埋葬的，才會泛起云云形態(tài)。
