1911年10月在辛亥革命的歷史大背景下,以保路運動為開端，12月四川省宣布獨立，建立大漢四川軍政府。尹昌衡出任軍政部長,被推為都督后,組織軍政府。為滿足軍需和保路運動的需要，同時也為了維持政府開支，于1912年起，四川成都造幣廠奉軍政府之令，更換前清龍紋銅元舊模，雕版民國銅元新款，正式開鑄“軍政府造四川銅幣漢字銀元”，開鑄之初僅發行十文、二十文兩種錢幣。同年5月，又添鑄當五十文一種，當年計鑄十文銅元6055萬余枚，二十文銅元1247萬余枚，五十文銅元935萬余枚。"軍政府造四川銅幣"是辛亥革命時期的產物。
In October 1911, under the historical background of the 1911 Revolution, Sichuan Province announced its independence and established the Da Han Sichuan Military Government, starting with the road protection movement. After Yin Changheng became military and political minister and was promoted as viceroy, he organized the military government. In order to meet the needs of military supplies and the road protection movement, as well as to maintain government expenditure, in 1912, the Chengdu Mint in Sichuan was ordered by the military government to replace the old Qing dragon pattern copper dollar model and to carve out a new version of the Republic of China copper dollar model. The "Sichuan copper coin made by the military government in Chinese characters and silver dollars" was officially launched. At the beginning of the project, only 10 and 20 coins were issued. In May of the same year, another 50 bronze coins were added. In that year, more than 60.55 million copper coins, 12.47 million copper coins and 9.35 million copper coins were cast. "Sichuan copper coins made by the military government" was a product of the 1911 revolution.
此枚錢幣圖案文字清晰、無磨損，表面平整光潔，邊緣無明顯撞擊痕跡等，基本可算得上好品相。銅幣正面中央珠圈內有"四川銅幣"四字，上下左右分列，其中心飾有芙蓉花紋。珠圈上緣書"軍政府造"四字，下緣為"當制錢五十文"字樣，標明幣值，左右飾以花星紋飾。銅幣背面中央大圓圈內為一篆書"漢"字，"漢"字底有數十條橫直紋，因而錢幣收藏者也稱之為"漢"字銅元。"漢"字圓圈外還環繞有18個小圓圈，代表當時的十八個省份。把18個小圓圈圍繞著"漢"字聯成一體，寓意十八省人民團結起來共同為"驅逐韃虜，恢復中華"而戰斗。它帶有辛亥革命那一時期鮮明的時代印記，見證了那一段波瀾壯闊的民國歷史!據此它有著不同的收藏價值。
This coin has clear patterns and characters, no wear and tear, smooth surface and no obvious impact marks on its edges. It is basically a good picture. There are four characters "Sichuan Copper Coin" in the bead circle on the front of the copper coin, which are separated from top to bottom and left to right. Its center is decorated with lotus patterns. The upper border of the bead ring reads "made by the military government" and the lower border reads "fifty Chinese characters for making money". it indicates the value of the money and is decorated with floral decorations on the left and right. The central circle on the back of the copper coin has a seal character "Han" with dozens of horizontal and straight lines at the bottom, so coin collectors also call it "Han" copper coin. There are 18 small circles outside the circle of "Han", representing the 18 provinces at that time. The 18 small circles around the word "Han" are united into a whole, implying that the people of the 18 provinces unite to fight for "expelling the Manchus and restoring China". It bears the distinctive mark of the 1911 Revolution and witnessed the magnificent history of the Republic of China. Therefore, it has different collection values.
