“軍政府造四川銅幣”是辛亥革命時期的產物。1911年12月發生“成都兵變”，以尹昌衡、羅綸為正副都督的四川軍政府取代了成立僅12天的大漢四川軍政府。新的四川軍政府成立之初即面臨著需用日繁、度支日絀的財政困窘局面。軍政府迅速接管了四川成都造幣廠，決定鑄造“四川銅幣”以應急。民國元年（1912年）4月，四川成都造幣廠奉四川軍政府之命，開模鑄造“軍政府造四川銅幣”（也稱“漢”字銅元）。在2016年御藏閣春季拍賣征集期間，有幸得到二枚軍政府造四川銅幣當制錢一百文，二枚錢幣有以下幾點顯著特點：
1、以鑄造歷史：篆書“漢”字四川銅幣有5文、10文、20文、50文、100文五種面值，其中100文幣僅存樣幣，極為罕見。20文、50文幣鑄造數量較多。10文幣鑄造量最大，據估算當不少于1.1億枚。由此可見，100文之銅幣是世間難得的精品，極為罕見。
2、以“漢”字圖案:“漢”字底有數十條橫直紋，因而錢幣收藏者也稱之為“漢”字銅元。“漢”字圓圈外還環繞有18個小圓圈，代表當時的十八個省份。把18個小圓圈圍繞著“漢”字聯成一體，寓意十八省人民團結起來共同為“驅逐韃虜，恢復中華”而戰斗。
錢幣正面中央珠圈內有“四川銅幣”四字，上下左右分列，其中心飾有芙蓉花紋。珠圈上緣書“軍政府造”四字，下緣鑄幣值“當制錢壹百文”六字，左右飾以花星紋飾。 銅幣背面上沿“中華民國二年”字樣，中央大圓圈內為一篆書“漢”字。
與孫小頭和袁大頭這些銀幣比起來，軍政府造四川銅幣流通范圍較窄，發行量與存世量都相對來說比較少。也是由于這個原因，導致四川銅元的研究價值和市場價值都變得異常高。由于該錢幣作為特殊歷史時期地方政權的貨幣，具有不可替代的文物價值，從收藏與投資角度來說是非常珍貴的。

The Sichuan Military Government, with Yin Changheng and Luo Lun as the deputy governors, replaced the Dahan Sichuan Military Government, which was established for only 12 days. At the beginning of the establishment of the new Sichuan military government, it was faced with a financial situation that required daily complexity and spending. The military government quickly took over the Chengdu Mint in Sichuan and decided to cast "Sichuan Copper Coin" in emergency. In April of the first year of the Republic of China(1912), the Chengdu Mint in Sichuan Province was ordered by the Sichuan Military Government to cast the "military government to make Sichuan copper coins"(also known as "Han" copper coins). During the spring auction of the Imperial Court in 2016, it was fortunate to receive two military governments to make Sichuan copper coins as one hundred coins. The two coins have the following salient features:
1, casting history: The word "Han" in the seal book has 5 text, 10 text, 20 text, 50 text, and 100 text denominations. Among them, 100 coins only have sample coins, which are extremely rare. There are more coins in 20 and 50 coins. The largest amount of minting is 10 coins, which is estimated to be no less than 110 million pieces. It can be seen that the copper coins in 100 words are rare and rare in the world.
2, with the "Han" word pattern: "Han" has dozens of horizontal lines on the bottom of the word, so coin collectors also call it the "Han" word copper yuan. There are also 18 small circles outside the "Han" circle, representing the then 18 provinces. The 18 small circles are United around the word "Han", which means that the people of the 18 provinces unite to fight for the "expulsion and restoration of China."
There are "Sichuan Copper Coins" in the central bead circle on the front of the coin, which is divided up and down and left and right, and its center is decorated with hibiscus patterns. Compared with the silver coins of Sunxiaotou and Yuandatou, the military government has a narrow range of circulation of Sichuan copper coins, and the circulation and survival of circulation are relatively small.
