The Revolution of 1911 overthrew and ended China's feudal monarchy for more than 2,000 years because it "urgently saved the people of Sri Lanka from fire and water and cut off the power of the building". 與湖北毗鄰的江西省立即震動起來，在同盟會員的策動下，同年10月23日，時任九江新軍標統的馬毓寶響應起義，成立了中華民國駐潯（九江之簡稱）軍政府。辛亥革命勝刊以后，南昌造幣廠由江西省軍政府接管，為了紀念辛亥革命的成功和籌措各項新政經費，同年末特鑄造了最早體現為紀念辛亥革命勝利的江西辛亥“大漢銅幣”。作為一場改朝換代、腥風血雨的武裝起義 ，最早、最直接烙上鮮明時代特征的貨幣則非“江西辛亥大漢銅板”莫屬。1911年10月10日辛亥革命在武昌爆發，全國革命黨人聞風響應。江西同盟會的革命黨人聯絡一些新兵于10月下旬分別在九江和南昌發動起義，宣布獨立。因痛恨清政府，抵制使用清朝錢幣，當然也有籌措各項新政經費之緣由，便有財政部門的革命分子設計并鑄造了“江西辛亥大漢銅板”。

As an armed uprising of regime change and bloodshed, the earliest and most directly branded currency with distinctive characteristics of the times was the "Jiangxi Xinhai big fellow copper plate". On October 10, 1911, the Revolution of 1911 broke out in Wuchang, and the revolutionaries of the whole country responded. The revolutionaries of the Jiangxi United League contacted some new recruits to launch uprisings in Jiujiang and Nanchang in late October to declare independence. Because they hated the Qing government and boycotted the use of Qing coins, and of course there were reasons to raise funds for various new policies, there were revolutionaries in the finance department who designed and forged the "Jiangxi Xinhai big fellow copper coin".
江西“大漢銅幣”的鑄行是全國最早體現新生革命政權建立的機制幣，盡管，它的問世距辛亥革命不過兩個多月的倉促時間而鑄期短，竟能以一種超凡脫俗的全新面貌出現，其鑄量尤為顯得稀少。因為，該幣在精神層面中的價值，是不能與現實流通貨幣價值而相提并論的，其深遠的歷史價值和文化價值，使之具有深刻的現實意義和不可復制的替代性。

此銅板幣質為紅銅，外環鑄“大漢銅幣”及珠圈，上緣鑄“江西省造”，下緣鑄“當制錢十文”，左右兩側用“辛亥”二字。銅板背面則以大小十八個圓形寓意鐵血十八星旗取代龍紋圖案，中華民國永久生存之象。整個銅板的圖案蘊涵全國十八行省之民眾共同復興大漢民族，建立自由、平等、獨立的中華民國之決心。是“江西辛亥大漢銅板”第一個將流通貨幣上象征大清帝國的龍紋和體現皇權威嚴的年號拋進了歷史的垃圾堆。（錢幣本身的歷史意義已經超越文物的收藏價值）
This copper coin is made of red copper. The outer ring is cast with "Da Han Copper Coin" and bead ring. The upper edge is cast with "Made in Jiangxi Province". The lower edge is cast with "When Making Money" and the left and right sides are cast with the word "Xinhai". On the back of the copper plate, the dragon pattern is replaced by 18 circles of different sizes symbolizing the iron and blood 18 star flag, which symbolizes the permanent existence of the Republic of China. The pattern of the whole copper plate implies the determination of the people in the 18 provinces of the country to jointly revive the Han nationality and establish a free, equal and independent Republic of China. It was the "Jiangxi Xinhai Han copper coin" that was the first to throw the dragon pattern, which symbolizes the Qing empire, and the year number, which embodies the majesty of imperial power, into the dustbin of history.
