銀幣，代表了中國近代的貨幣文化，反映了我國近代歷史、經(jīng)濟、金融的興衰和滄桑。早在明朝中期，西班牙就已在墨西哥制造“本洋”銀幣(俗稱“雙柱”)，至清代乾隆、嘉慶年間，中國對外貿(mào)易日趨繁榮，從外國流入中國的銀幣種類也日漸增多。至清朝末年，帝國主義列強掀起了瓜分中國的狂潮。清政府無法抵御外敵侵略，先后與外國列強簽訂了一系列不平等條約，使中國淪為半封建半殖民地社會。外國列強為了在華爭奪利益，幾十個國家的銀元先后涌入中國，通過不公平貿(mào)易，換取我國大量白銀。除“雙柱”外，還有墨西哥“鷹洋”、英國“站洋”、印度支那“坐洋”、日本“龍洋”和德國威廉一世紀念銀幣等品種。
Silver coin, representing the modern monetary culture of China, reflects the rise and fall of our modern history, economy and finance and vicissitudes of life. As early as the mid-Ming Dynasty, Spain had manufactured "native" silver coins (commonly known as "double pillars") in Mexico. During the reign of Qianlong and Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, China's foreign trade was flourishing and the types of silver coins flowing into China from foreign countries were increasing. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, the imperialist powers set off a wave of partitioning China. The Qing government was unable to resist foreign aggression and signed a series of unequal treaties successively with foreign powers, which reduced China to a semi-feudal and semi-colonial society. In order to compete for interests in China, the foreign powers have poured into China several dozen countries'silver dollars in exchange for a large amount of silver in China through unfair trade. In addition to "double pillars", there are also Mexican "Eagle Ocean", British "Standing Ocean", Indochina "sitting Ocean", Japanese "Dragon Ocean" and German William's first century silver coin.

此組錢幣分別為英國“站洋幣”和法屬印度支那“坐洋幣”。站洋幣銀元正面中央是一持戟、盾的武士，站立岸頭，傲視世界。左手持米字盾牌，右手執(zhí)三叉戟，意為能攻能守，戰(zhàn)無不勝。上端在武士左右有英文幣值“ONE DOLLAR（一元）”，下有紀年；背面中央為壽字紋，上下為中文“壹圓”，左右為馬來文“壹圓”。此枚站人銀元圖案精美，內(nèi)涵深邃。品相保存完好，包漿入骨，極具收藏價值。坐洋幣正面的主圖為手執(zhí)束棒的自由女神坐像，這也是“坐洋”得名的原因。坐像的兩側(cè)鑄法文中文意譯為法蘭西共和國。女神座下方有小字法文BARRE和該幣發(fā)行的年份。銀幣背面的主圖案為一花環(huán)，周圈為說明文字，整塊銀幣背面文字的中文意譯為：法蘭西（所屬的）印度支那（銀幣）。正下方中間位置的雙火炬中的小字“A”則可視為版別。此幣歷經(jīng)百年，光澤柔和，透露著自然沁色。幣面設(shè)計采用法國國璽設(shè)計，彰顯了法國對該地區(qū)的宗主權(quán)。極具研究價值與收藏意義。

The Chinese translation of the text on the back of the whole silver coin is: France (belongs to) Indochina (silver coin). The small word "A" in the double torch in the middle of the lower part can be regarded as the edition type. After a hundred years, the currency has a soft luster, revealing its natural color. The design of the currency surface is based on the French seal, which shows the French sovereignty over the region. It has great research value and collection significance.
舊時錢幣是不可再生之物，且存世量極為稀少，蘊含著深刻的歷史價值、文化價值、收藏價值，深受收藏者的喜愛。此組幣設(shè)計新穎，鑄工精湛，保存完好，字跡、紋飾等清晰自然，包漿老道，色澤古樸，幣面精致美觀，品相甚佳，較為珍罕。站洋幣與坐洋幣雖不是中國本土幣種，但因為所屬歷史時間特殊，且在中國流通過一段時間，所以也具有一定的歷史價值和鑒賞價值。
