銀錠,中國(guó)古代貨幣,即熔鑄成錠的白銀。重量不等,因此以“兩”為主要重量單位,故又稱銀兩。始自漢代,其后各代皆有鑄造,但流通不廣。而銀錠至明代盛行,但不是國(guó)家法定銀錠貨幣。直至清朝,開始作為主要貨幣流通。銀錠表面刻有銘文,是指鑄造銀錠時(shí)鏨刻或鑄造在銀錠上的文字,內(nèi)容歷代不盡相同,大體包括銀錠鑄造的時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)、用途、成色、官員或工匠姓名等。而仔細(xì)查看表面還刻有當(dāng)年錢莊所收的壓印,這組銀錠的出現(xiàn),對(duì)揭開清末銀錠的一些歷史謎團(tuán)和研究清末社會(huì)情況具有極高的學(xué)術(shù)價(jià)值。 戳記大氣,字跡清晰,通體原色包漿,寶面原光,錠形優(yōu)美而深受藏家喜愛,保存極為完好,品相難得。據(jù)光緒《大清會(huì)典事例· 戶部·關(guān)稅》載:正稅銀一萬五千兩、錢九千串,贏余一千六百兩。凡商販貨物,按馱科稅者為多,有按斤、件、箱、匹、張、個(gè)、雙、擔(dān)科稅者, 牲畜按數(shù),油酒鋪房分上中二則按年科稅。土默特蒙古牲畜稅,每?jī)r(jià)銀一兩收制錢八文。均照部頒現(xiàn)行條例征收。
