該錢幣為“丁未光緒銀幣雙龍一兩”銀幣系清政府度支部設計和正式鑄行的清代標準銀幣之一，并且存在實重一兩的樣幣和實重庫平七錢二分的標準壹圓流通幣兩種版式。兩種版式銀幣的幣面文字和圖案設計風格相似，但也有非常明顯的差別。銀幣正面中央圓圈內鐫“光緒銀幣”四個字，圈外左右兩側分鐫“丁未”二字和一對雙龍戲珠(壽字)圖案。銀幣背面中央鐫“一兩”二字，兩側鐫雙龍戲珠圖案，兩條龍的背部和龍腹部分別鐫有三團云朵，下端鐫海浪圖案。正面和背面的龍圖造型完全不同。本品為實重壹兩的版式。此組錢幣整體品相清晰完善，包漿自然純正。內珠邊齒規則整齊背面盤龍龍鱗清晰，背面盤龍龍眼內有兩顆清晰的內視龍睛，直指龍珠，含銀量高,制作精良,工藝極其精湛，因其現存真品存世量甚少，此組不同版別的光緒元寶都有獨特的韻味,值得藏家深品。
