糧票是20世紀50年代至85年代,中國在特定經濟時期發放的一種購糧憑證。中國最早實行的票證種類有糧票、食用油票、布票等。糧票作為一種實際的有價證券,在中國使用達40多年之久。“票證經濟”曾影響了我國幾代老百姓的生活,那是一段憑票吃糧喝湯的年代,也是靠糧票、布票等票證過日子的計劃經濟時代。
各種糧票的尺寸是千差萬別的,其形式有橫式,也有豎式、齒狀和正方形。有的糧票與人民幣10元大小相同,而有的糧票只有1厘米大小。面額大的在千斤、萬斤以上,面額小的僅為一錢以下。糧票的設計各不一樣,有的有精美的圖案,有的將風景名勝和濃郁的民族風情設計在糧票上。
文中此峨眉縣糧票一組,為1979年峨眉縣購糧券貳市斤一張以及1979年峨眉縣面粉票壹市兩、伍市兩各一張。糧票正面印有幣值,反面也對該糧票使用有詳細說明,并蓋有峨眉縣糧食局印章。此組糧票圖案精美,設計精巧,印制精細,具有時間性、地域性的特點,具有重要的歷史意義,極具收藏價值。
