中華民國元年四川銅幣軍政府造壹圓鑄造于1912年，是四川省獨立后自行研發(fā)的幣模鑄造。在新的四川軍政府成立之初即面臨著需用日繁、度支日絀的財政困窘局面。軍政府迅速接管了四川成都造幣廠，決定鑄造"四川銅幣"以應(yīng)急。

此枚錢幣圖案文字清晰、無磨損，表面平整光潔，邊緣無明顯撞擊痕跡等，基本可算得上好品相。銅幣正面中央珠圈內(nèi)有"四川銅幣"四字，上下左右分列，其中心飾有芙蓉花紋。珠圈上緣書"軍政府造"四字，下緣為"當(dāng)制錢壹元"字樣，標(biāo)明幣值，左右飾以花星紋飾。銅幣背面中央大圓圈內(nèi)為一篆書"漢"字，"漢"字底有數(shù)十條橫直紋，因而錢幣收藏者也稱之為"漢"字銀元。"漢"字圓圈外還環(huán)繞有18個小圓圈，代表當(dāng)時的十八個省份。把18個小圓圈圍繞著"漢"字聯(lián)成一體，寓意十八省人民團結(jié)起來共同為"驅(qū)逐韃虜，恢復(fù)中華"而戰(zhàn)斗。
