“通寶”是中國自唐初至清末銅幣的一種名稱。早期多以重量作為錢幣名稱，如半兩、五銖。另有元寶、重寶、之寶等錢。唐代改變了秦、漢以來錢幣以重量命名的習慣，唐高祖武德四年(621)廢五銖錢，開始鑄造通寶。下圖我司征集到的一枚稀罕通寶，品相完好，尤為珍貴。

乾隆通寶 乾隆通寶，便是因為清高宗乾隆皇帝于公元1735年即位，在位的60年里體現其“文治武功”的治國戰略，是封建社會里的一個光輝盛世，往后民間便盛傳佩戴“乾隆通寶”銅錢可驅災辟邪，又因乾隆二字諧音“錢隆”而備受后世藏家所喜愛的錢幣。這枚錢幣鑄于清高宗乾隆年間(1736-1795年)，反面的滿文比較復雜，上面有很具體的報價和錢幣拓片。錢面文字"乾隆通寶"以楷書書寫，其字從上而下而右而左直讀。錢背文字沿雍正滿文錢式穿孔左邊有"寶"字，穿孔右邊鑄有各局名。
