此山東省造光緒元寶每元當制錢十文錢幣一枚，直徑約為2.8cm，重量約為7.28g，為機制銀幣，其沖壓標準，深峻清晰，地章平滑，字口挺拔，品相精致，符合當時的鑄幣風格。藏品正面鑄有銘文，頂部鑄楷體“山東省造”四字，底部鑄貨幣價值：“每元當制錢十文”，中心直讀“光緒元寶”四字，幣中心為滿文“光緒元寶”，外圈兩側各有一朵花紋裝飾。銀幣背面中央鐫蟠龍圖，紋理細膩，猶如刀刻，鑄造工藝神乎其技，且龍身紋路精美，并有云海襯托，仿若神龍翱翔天際，極其壯闊，動人心魄，外圈頂部則是鑄有英文“山東省”，下面為英文幣值“十文”。
