光緒元寶是大清光緒年流通大面值貨幣之首，是我國首批引進海外技術的印發流通貨幣，對于現今蘊藏了一定歷史意義。由于引進西方造幣技術，不再是人工雕刻打磨，改為機械化造幣，省時省力，做工精細，規格統一，這也是大多數古錢幣沒有的特點。
Tiguangxu Yuanbao is the first large denomination currency circulated in Guangxu year of the Great Qing Dynasty. It is the first circulation currency to introduce overseas technology in China. It has certain historical significance for today. Because of the introduction of Western coinage technology, it is no longer artificial sculpture and polishing, but mechanical coinage, saving time and effort, fine workmanship, uniform specifications, which is also the characteristics that most ancient coins do not have.

此幣為江西省造光緒元寶當十，錢幣正面珠圈內有銘文“光緒元寶”四字，中心飾以六瓣花。珠圈外環上為 “江西省造”四字，左右為滿文字樣表錢局，下面為“當十”幣值。錢幣背面為光緒元寶較為經典的蟠龍圖案，錢幣外圈為英文字樣。藏品保存良好，字跡和紋飾清晰可見。錢幣形制規整，板式新穎，標示著西方文明的介入，歷史紀念意義較大，具有極高的收藏價值。且錢幣紋飾雕刻深淺不一，工藝精湛，錢幣包漿老道，優雅大方，具有很高的藝術觀賞性。
The coin is made in Guangxu, Jiangxi Province. The front bead circle of the coin has the inscription "Guangxu, Yuanbao" in four characters, and the center is decorated with six petals of flowers. The outer ring of the Pearl circle has four characters of "made in Jiangxi Province", about which is the Money Bureau of Manchu Character, and the following is the value of "Dang Shi". On the back of the coin is the classic Panlong pattern of Guangxu Yuanbao, and the outer circle of the coin is English. The collection is well preserved with clear handwriting and decorations. The regular shape and innovative plate of coins indicate the involvement of Western civilization. The historical commemoration is of great significance and has a very high collection value. And coin decoration carving depth is different, exquisite craftsmanship, old-fashioned Coin Purse pulp, elegant and generous, with a high artistic appreciation.
光緒元寶融滿漢文化和西方文化于一體，具有較高的收藏價值。在其流通期間鼎盛時期，有多達十多個省一起制作光緒元寶，因而板式較多，但在后期國家戰亂中損毀和外流嚴重。當下的古玩藝術品市場中光緒元寶炒得火熱，卻珍品難求。
Guangxu Yuanbao combines Manchu and Han cultures with Western cultures and has high collection value. During its peak period of circulation, more than ten provinces jointly produced Guangxu Yuanbao, which resulted in more slabs, but was seriously damaged and outflow in the later period of national war. Guangxu Yuanbao is very popular in the current antique art market, but it is hard to find precious products.
