"廣東雙龍壽字幣一兩、七錢二分、七錢二"銀幣的鑄造，史料中沒有確切記載，泉家們歷來對于其具體鑄造情況有不同的解讀，至今沒有定論。民國時期的張炯伯等學者認為：這種銀幣系光緒三十一年(1905)為紀念慈禧太后七十壽辰而鑄造的。The coinage of "one or two, seven cents and seven cents" silver coins in Shuanglongshou, Guangdong, has not been accurately recorded in historical materials. Quanzi scholars have always had different interpretations of its specific casting situation, and so far there is no final conclusion. Zhang Jiebo and other scholars in the Republic of China believed that this silver coin was coined in the 31st year of Guangxu (1905) to commemorate the 70th birthday of Empress Dowager Cixi.
張炯伯在其《廣東省造壹兩銀幣》一文中稱："惟本品因未紀年，殊難遽斷，然觀其圖案，諧作福壽，環繞雙龍，幕無英文，意含頌祝，大異常制。由此以推，成為紀念幣之一種，專鑄以祝慈禧太后七旬萬壽者也。In his article "Two Silver Coins Made in Guangdong Province", Zhang Jongbo said: "However, due to the unknown age, this product is very difficult to break, but look at its pattern, make a happy life harmoniously, surround the Shuanglong, the curtain has no English, meaning praise and congratulations, big exception system. As a result, it has become one of the commemorative coins, especially for those who wish Empress Dowager Cixi a longevity of seventy days.
由于正值戶部推行一兩本位制銀幣，所以這枚壽字紀念銀幣亦用“庫平重壹兩”的本位制紀重,壽字壹兩紀念銀幣制造非常精致。Because of the implementation of one or two standard silver coins by the Ministry of Household Affairs, the commemorative silver coin of the longevity character also uses the standard system of "Kuping Double One and Two". Two commemorative silver coins with the longevity character are exquisitely made.

此枚錢幣為廣東省造光緒元寶庫平重一兩銀幣龍洋,銀幣正面珠圈內鐫漢文“光緒元寶”四字，珠圈外上端鐫漢文“廣東省造”四字，左右兩側各鐫有一蝙蝠圖案，下端鐫漢文“庫平重一兩”五個字。銀幣背面：珠圈內鑄一圓形“壽”字，珠圈外鑄雙龍戲珠圖案。品相完好，流通痕跡少許，屬極靜美品,為難得的稀世珍品。This coin is made in Guangxu Yuan Treasury of Guangdong Province, weighing one or two silver coins, with four Chinese characters "Guangxu Yuan Bao" in the front bead circle, four Chinese characters "Made in Guangdong Province" in the upper end of the bead circle, one bat pattern on both sides, and five words "Kuping Chong" in the lower end. On the back of the silver coin: a round "Shou" character is cast in the bead circle, and a double dragon opera pearl pattern is cast outside the bead circle. It is a very quiet and beautiful product with few traces of circulation. It is a rare and rare treasure.
