藏品簡介： 山西益昌升最近有幸征集了一枚珍品廣東省造光緒元寶“庫平一錢四分四厘”，藏品直徑：2.3cm。錢面：珠圈中滿漢文“光緒元寶”四字，圈外上環“廣東省造”，下環“庫平一錢四分四厘”。錢背：中心為蟠龍圖案，上下環英文：KWANG-TUNG PROVINCE(廣東省造)，1 MACE AND 4.4 CANDAREENS（一錢四分四厘），左右各一十字星。藏品品相精致，其審美風格獨持，錢幣正面鮮然可見滿漢文化的融合，而錢背卻明確標示了西方文化的介入。錢幣雖小，也可管窺社會文化一斑。其包漿入骨，熟舊自然，深打字口清楚，流通痕跡明顯，邊齒過關，龍鱗清晰，具有極高的投資價值和收藏價值。它有著歷史熏陶，是價值很高的革命文物，具有深遠的歷史紀念意義；同時還是考古和研究中國歷史文化難得的實物。光緒元寶是清代光緒年間特有的一種貨幣。有著清朝貨幣特征，由于當時時局不穩定，因此幾乎在全國的各個省都有專門的貨幣鑄造廠。因此我們會發現那個時代的貨幣上都有鮮明的鑄字，標明是哪個省的造幣廠鑄造的。廣東省造幣廠鑄造的光緒元寶的幣值有有七錢二分、三錢六分、一錢四分四厘、七分二厘、三分六厘五等。光緒十六年（1890年）廣東省錢局造幣廠根據清政府欽定體制，將錢文改鏨蟠龍之外，以“廣東省造”和庫平重量漢文改到正面，廣為鼓鑄第三版“光緒元寶”，至光緒三十四年，朝廷將貨幣按三個等級鑄造流通，分別是七錢二分（一元）、一錢四分四厘（二角）、七分二厘（一角），主要由天津的造幣總廠鑄造，北洋、南洋（江南）、湖北、廣東是四個分廠，也有鑄造，但流通量不大，廣東省造光緒元寶庫平一錢四分四厘的珍品不易常見。該制形被各省采用，成為定制。光緒元寶是大眾收藏品，收藏者有一定數量，前期國內各區域都有實力型買家介入光緒元寶板塊，在一定程度上控制了市場供貨量，導致其價格快速走高。同時，光緒元寶的價值也在同步上升。從藏家和市民的接受程度看，預計后期光緒元寶的價格還將繼續上漲。光緒元寶記載了我國一段的歷史，具有重要的文化意義和收藏價值。
