清文宗愛新覺羅·奕詝(1831—1861),即咸豐帝,可謂是清代運(yùn)氣最不好的皇帝。咸豐元年(1851),即爆發(fā)了轟轟烈烈、聲勢空前的太平天國農(nóng)民起義。咸豐帝剛剛登基。便要應(yīng)對有清以來前所未遇的危局,以致他此后11年的皇帝生涯始終處于內(nèi)憂外患中,極其不幸。他被稱為無遠(yuǎn)見、無膽識、無才能、無作為的“四無皇帝”,史家也找不出什么理由給他好評。他既沒有創(chuàng)出像其祖先康熙、乾隆等皇帝那樣顯赫的政績,也沒有寫出像他們那樣有影響的詩文。然而,有一點(diǎn)卻不能不說,咸豐朝所鑄大錢非常有名,是中國古錢幣的一朵奇葩,精美絕倫,被泉學(xué)名家孫仲匯先生譽(yù)為“清錢之王”,極具欣賞價(jià)值。且對研究中國乃至世界鑄幣史和金融史具有非常特殊的意義。
Qing Wenzong Aixinjueluo Yijiao (1831-1861), Emperor Xianfeng, was the worst lucky emperor in the Qing Dynasty. In the first year of Xianfeng (1851), an unprecedented peasant uprising in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom broke out. Emperor Xianfeng has just ascended the throne. He had to deal with the unprecedented crisis since the Qing Dynasty, so that his 11 years of emperor career was always in internal and external trouble, extremely unfortunate. He was called the "four emperors without vision, courage, talent and action", and historians could not find any reason to praise him. He did not create such outstanding achievements as his ancestors Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong, nor did he write such influential poems as they did. However, it can not be said that the money minted by Xianfeng Dynasty is very famous. It is a wonderful flower of ancient Chinese coins. It is extremely beautiful. It is praised as "the king of clean money" by Mr. Sun Zhonghui, a famous Quanzhou scholar, and has great appreciation value. And it has a very special significance for the study of the history of coinage and finance in China and even in the world.

此幣為寶武咸豐元寶當(dāng)百銅幣,錢幣正面“咸豐元寶”為楷書,背面穿孔上為“當(dāng)”,穿孔為下“百”,左右書滿文鑄幣局“寶武”。該錢錢文字體深俊,結(jié)構(gòu)端莊規(guī)整,鑄造精美絕倫,其文字及穿孔處均呈拔模斜度,尤其該錢的錢文筆畫,點(diǎn)劃撇捺分明,錢文線條有粗有細(xì),粗若含雷霆萬鈞之力,細(xì)則如蛟龍游絲相連,從錢文中透露出一股抑揚(yáng)頓挫的剛毅之勁,令人嘆為觀止。此幣十分精美,字跡清晰深俊,銅材優(yōu)良,錢文精美,沒一絲一毫拖泥帶水,比同版流通的錢稍大些、厚重些,珍稀罕見。
