大清銅幣又名清代機(jī)制銅圓，鑄造時(shí)間始于1900年(清朝光緒二十六年)，流通時(shí)間盡管只有十余年，但其鼎盛時(shí)期全國(guó)共有十七省二十局開(kāi)機(jī)鑄造銅圓。 “大清銅幣”當(dāng)十銅圓共有十九個(gè)省局鑄造。除中央戶部鑄造者外，地方各省所鑄銅圓，皆在其正面中央鐫刻陰文或陽(yáng)文省名簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)。清代當(dāng)十銅圓鑄造之初，清政府并沒(méi)有對(duì)銅圓的紋飾圖案，作嚴(yán)格的規(guī)定。因此，各省局所鑄銅圓盡管其幣背皆采用龍型圖案，但龍型各異，種類(lèi)繁多。

文中這枚大清銅幣當(dāng)十錢(qián)，錢(qián)面中央有“大清銅幣”四個(gè)漢字，內(nèi)嵌一小字甯，“甯”為古地名（現(xiàn)今河南省獲嘉縣、修武縣一帶），上端是滿文“大清銅幣”字樣，兩側(cè)為年份。邊緣中間分別“戶部”二漢字，下端為“當(dāng)制錢(qián)十文”。錢(qián)背中央為蟠龍，上端是“光緒年造”，下端英文“Tai-Ching- Ti-Kuo Copper Coin”字樣。錢(qián)幣經(jīng)過(guò)歲月的洗禮后，上面的跡象也見(jiàn)證了其歷史的積淀，具有非常明顯的歷史過(guò)渡性特征，有著難以言喻的收藏價(jià)值。

"ning" is an ancient place name (around huojia county and xiuwu county in henan province nowadays), with "qing copper coin" in manchu at the top and years on both sides.In the middle of the edge are two Chinese characters for "hubu", and the bottom is "ten characters when making money".The central part of qian back is pan long, with "made in guangxu year" at the top and "tai-ching-ti-kuo Copper Coin" at the bottom.After the baptism of the years, the signs above also witness the accumulation of its history, with a very obvious historical transitional characteristics, with indescribable collection value.
