"Sichuan Copper coin made by the military government" was the product of the 1911 Revolution. On November 27, 1911, starting with a railway dispute, the Sichuan Military Government took over the Sichuan Mint Branch in Chengdu and decided to coin "Sichuan Copper coin" for emergency purposes. In April of the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the Chengdu Mint of Sichuan, under the orders of the Sichuan Military Government, cast "Sichuan Copper coin made by the military government". Since the reform and opening up, the depth and breadth of coin collection and research in China have exceeded any period in history.

This military government made "Sichuan Copper coin". The purse of the coin is mellow. The strong sense of the times can hardly hide the surging atmosphere of the 1911 Revolution, which makes the coin give people a unique color beauty. The front bead circle has "Sichuan Copper coin" inlaid with hibiscus flowers, the outer ring has "made by the military government", and the lower ring has "made fifty pieces of money", about four star flowers. On the back, the inscription of "the first year of the Republic of China" is carved. In the central circle, the inscription of "Han" is a seal book. Therefore, coin collectors also call it "Han" copper yuan. There are dozens of horizontal and straight lines around the word "Han", with distinct layers and superb engraving techniques. Outside the "Han" circle, there were 18 small circles representing the 18 provinces at that time, which implied that the people of the 18 provinces united to fight for "expelling the Tartars and restoring China".
Collections are well-regulated in shape, well-preserved in words and phrases, and the clarity of Qian Wen and outline is better. Although they have gone through endless years, the lines are still clear and visible. The rust on them also witnesses the accumulation of their history. They have very obvious historical transitional characteristics and have unspeakable collecting value. Because of the narrow circulation range and relatively small circulation and stock of the fifty-character coins made by Sichuan copper coin military government, its research value and market value have become exceptionally high. As the saying goes, "Things are precious because they are scarce." As a special currency of the local regime in a special historical period, the military government of Sichuan Copper coin has irreplaceable value of cultural relics and great significance in collecting them.
