1911年辛亥革命勝利后，清帝退位，中華民國成立。民國成立時，由于幣制尚未建立，主要的造幣廠，大都仍沿用前清鋼模鑄造錢幣，以供流通需要，當時四川改鑄四川銅元，有二百文、五百文一等幣值。隨后在頒布的“臨時大總統(tǒng)令”中提出要“另刊新模，鼓鑄紀念幣”，國民政府統(tǒng)一幣模后，原本的錢幣便停止了鑄造發(fā)行，因而四川造幣廠貳百文鑄造量少，流通時間短，極其珍貴。
After the victory of 1911 Revolution, Emperor Qing abdicated and the Republic of China was founded. At the time of the founding of the Republic of China, because the currency system had not yet been established, most of the major mints still used the former Qing steel mould to make coins for circulation. At that time, Sichuan converted into Sichuan Copper Yuan, which had a first-class value of 200 and 500 Chinese. Subsequently, in the "Provisional Presidential Decree", it was proposed that "new models should be published and commemorative coins should be minted". After the national government unified the coins, the original coins ceased to be minted and issued. As a result, the Sichuan Mint minted a small amount of cheap Baiwen, and the circulation time was short, which was extremely precious.

此幣正面圓環(huán)內(nèi)鑄有“貳百文”字樣，圈內(nèi)下方為麥穗環(huán)繞，圈外上面鑄寫“中華民國二年”六字，下方鑄寫“四川造幣廠造”六字，左右兩側(cè)各飾一朵四角星花紋；錢幣背面中間有雙旗交叉而立，旗桿系有彎曲的瓔珞，雙旗筆直挺立，位于珠圈內(nèi)，外環(huán)珠圈，上沿銹英文“THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA”(中華民國)，下沿銹英文“200 CASH（200現(xiàn)金)。這是民國時期四川銅元中唯一使用英文的一種，現(xiàn)存世量極少,具有很高的收藏和投資價值。

This is the only English language used in Tongyuan in Sichuan during the Republic of China. There are very few in the world and it has a high value of collection and investment.
