咸豐年間鑄造有重寶、元寶、通寶銅幣。咸豐重寶當(dāng)十銅錢，由于鑄造時(shí)間早，所以是自古以來(lái)古泉愛(ài)好者最關(guān)心并致力于收藏和欣賞的計(jì)值錢幣。在諸多咸豐大錢之中，應(yīng)當(dāng)推舉咸豐重寶當(dāng)十錢幣為最。鑄期長(zhǎng)、版式多、流通廣，無(wú)一不在咸豐大錢中占據(jù)首位。自咸豐三年起，寶泉、源、直、薊、濟(jì)、德、陜、鞏、福、蘇、河、武、寶昌、川、云、浙、桂、黔、（寶安）迪、伊、阿克蘇、喀什、葉兒羌、庫(kù)車等錢局均先后鑄造咸豐當(dāng)十大錢，并投入市場(chǎng)與小平錢同時(shí)流通。除了寶安錢局僅見(jiàn)部頒樣錢外，其它各個(gè)錢局均有不同版別，不同形式、材質(zhì)的計(jì)值重寶，知名度很大。
