1794年卡洛斯四世西班牙老雙柱，此枚錢幣正面鐫有半身西班牙國王像，正面右側(cè)均為拉丁文DEIGRATLA(意為蒙天主之恩)，下部是鑄造年度阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字。背面上邊有一皇冠，冠下有狀似盾形圖案，內(nèi)分六小格，中間格為橢圓形，有三個(gè)花狀圖形，左下角及右上角之格內(nèi)各有小獅子作起立狀，左上角和右下角之格內(nèi)為城堡狀；盾形圖案兩旁有兩根柱狀圖案，上有帶文字飄帶，周圍有西班牙文字。背面環(huán)周是拉丁文：HISPAN.ET.IND.REX.M.8R.F.M意為西班牙和西印度國王、M表示墨西哥造、8R示面值為8瑞第納爾，后兩位字母F.M為鑄幣師、檢驗(yàn)師的姓名首寫字母。
