光緒元寶是清朝光緒年間流通的貨幣之一。由湖北兩廣總督張之洞率先引進英國鑄幣機器鑄造銀元和銅元，之后各省紛紛仿效。共有十九個省局鑄造，除中央戶部，地方省所鑄錢幣，皆在其正面上緣鐫寫省名。作為大清光緒年流通大面值貨幣之首，光緒元寶是我國首批引進海外技術鑄行流通的貨幣，對于現今也蘊藏了一定歷史意義，故而吸引了諸多藏家的目光，價值不菲。

此吉林省造光緒元寶庫平三錢六分，直徑約為3.3厘米、重量約為13克，為機制銀幣，其沖壓標準，深峻清晰，地章平滑，字口挺拔，品相精致，符合當時的鑄幣風格。此銀幣正面中央珠圈內直讀漢文“光緒元寶”四字，幣心為一盆萬年青圖案(亦稱花籃圖);珠圈外上端鐫“吉林省造”四字，下端鐫漢字幣值“庫平三錢六分”，左右均有十字星花分列。銀幣背面中央鐫蟠龍圖，紋理細膩，猶如刀刻，鑄造工藝神乎其技，且龍身紋路精美，并有云海襯托，仿若神龍翱翔天際，極其壯闊，動人心魄;外圍上端鐫英文“KIRIN·PROVINCE”，下端鐫英文幣值“3·CANDARINS·6”，左右兩側各分列滿文和一個四花星，極具藝術觀賞價值。整幣形制規整，錢文清晰，端莊工整，工藝精美，線條流暢，包漿渾厚，是一枚價值非常珍貴的精品錢幣，值得收藏。
