李可染（1907年3月26日—1989年12月5日），江蘇徐州人。中國近代杰出畫家、詩人，齊白石的弟子。李可染自幼即喜繪畫，13歲時學畫山水。43歲任中央美術學院教授，行程數萬里旅行寫生。72歲任中國美術家協會副主席、中國畫研究院院長。晚年用筆趨于老辣。擅長畫山水、人物，尤其擅長畫牛。
Li Keran (March 26, 1907 - December 5, 1989), Xuzhou, Jiangsu. An outstanding painter and poet of modern China, a disciple of Qi Baishi. Li Keran was happy to paint since he was a child. When he was 13 years old, he learned to paint landscapes. At the age of 43, he was a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and traveled tens of thousands of miles to travel. At the age of 72, he served as vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association and dean of the Chinese Painting Institute. In the old age, the pen tends to be hot. He is good at painting landscapes and characters, and is especially good at painting cows.

1986年5月，”李可染中國畫展”在北京中國美術館舉行。這是李可染在世近70年筆耕生涯的最后一次展覽，展出作品202件。代表畫作有《漓江勝境圖》、《萬山紅遍》、《井岡山》等。代表畫集有《李可染水墨寫生畫集》、《李可染中國畫集》、《李可染畫牛》等。
In May 1986, "Li Keran Chinese Painting Exhibition" was held at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing. This is the last exhibition of Li Keran's nearly 70 years of pen cultivating career, showing 202 works.
