簡介：以大自然為師，離家遠游，寄居于山野人家，每天觀賞自然風物，經多年悉心揣摩，易元吉技藝日進，所繪花鳥動植物都很有特色。所作的畫，尤其以獐猿特別生動逼真，呼之欲出，他因此而名聞天下。
范曾，（1938年7月5日－），江蘇南通人，字十翼，是中國人物畫畫家、書法家。現為中國美術家協會會員，中國藝術研究院博士生導師、研究員，南開大學終身教授、博士生導師，北京大學中國文化書院導師。山東大學藝術學院名譽院長 聯合國教科文組織“多元文化特別顧問”。
Fan Zeng (July 5, 1938-), a native of Nantong, Jiangsu Province, is a Chinese figure painter and calligrapher. He is now a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a doctoral tutor and researcher of the Chinese Academy of Art, a lifelong professor and doctoral tutor of Nankai University, and a tutor of the Chinese Academy of Culture of Peking University. "Special Adviser on Multiculturalism" of UNESCO, Honorary Dean of School of Art, Shandong University.
作為一代書畫大家，范曾大隱于世，卻心掛世人。千金散盡，獨享平淡生活，收放之間，盡顯大家風范。范曾先生作為文化人群體的代表，和企業家們一同行善，更能讓中國財富上長出精神來，在中國知識階層中有標桿的意義。人們只知道他的畫，卻鮮有人知道他的善行。范曾作畫主張用石濤“一畫論”之精義，力追天籟之境，精于白描，尤喜寫意人物。他先后于香港、日本等地多次舉辦個人畫展。
As a master of painting and calligraphy of a generation, Fan Zengda was concealed in the world, but he was concerned about the world. 著名畫家李苦禪在辭世前的最后時刻評價：“沒有范曾這個學生，子系中山狼，得志變猖狂”。
