1911年辛亥革命爆發(fā)后，革命黨在南京建立臨時(shí)政府，各省代表推舉孫中山為臨時(shí)大總統(tǒng)，1912年元月民國(guó)正式建立。民國(guó)25年是1936年發(fā)行的一枚錢幣，面值為一分。民國(guó)二十五年由上海中央造幣廠制造。該幣的鑄造時(shí)間只有四年，即民國(guó)二十五至二十八年，鑄數(shù)較少，能流傳至今并保存完好的就更加稀少，存世量不多，非常珍貴。
