此銀幣正面有太極八卦圖案紋飾，中心光緒元寶四個字，外圍是山東官銀和庚子年造。光緒年號始于1875年,即夏歷乙亥年;庚子年是1900年,也就是光緒二十六年。背面是中文和滿文的一兩字樣，外圍是龍紋。
