蘇繡以蘇州刺繡研究所的高新區(qū)的鎮(zhèn)湖鎮(zhèn)（現(xiàn)改為街道）刺繡最為有名。鎮(zhèn)湖是蘇繡的主要發(fā)源地，蘇繡中的八成產(chǎn)品來(lái)自鎮(zhèn)湖。
