該十二生肖八卦花錢由江蘇藏家馬老師祖傳之物，是一枚常見的“八卦圖”花錢，圓孔，寬緣，正面是八卦圖，“乾，坤，震，艮，離，坎，兌，巽”與各自三爻的符號相對，“乾三連，坤六斷，震仰盂，艮覆碗，離中虛，坎中滿，兌上缺，巽下斷”的八卦歌訣。背面是十二生肖圖，“子、丑、寅、卯、辰、巳、午、未、申、酉、戌、亥”，十二地支名稱對應著十二個屬相圖案，環成一圈，刻畫生動，十分精美。
