Zhang Daqian is good at landscapes, figures, flowers and feathers, but he lacks in calligraphy, which should be his regret. His early teacher from the late Qing Dynasty famous calligrapher Li Ruiqing, Zeng Nongbian, formed his own fine, square, slightly Li style of calligraphy, after the 1930s, Mr. Zhang Daqian's calligraphy began to brew changes. He transferred to many schools and studied Wei Bei and Ho He Ming. He learned Shi Tao's vigorous and unconstrained style of writing by referring to the style of Huang Shan Valley, a great master of the Song Dynasty. On the basis of inheriting the tradition, his calligraphy art combines the artistic conception of landscape painting. Instead of blindly pursuing the ostensible publicity and the swordsmanship, he integrates strength and emotion, seeks novelty in mediocrity, and makes his calligraphy elegant and elegant, flexible and rigid, and Zhang Daqian's strong and elegant style of his own, which is called by later generations. "Big Thousand Body".
