光緒元寶是清朝 光緒 年間流通的貨幣之一。由湖北兩廣總督 張之洞 率先引進英國鑄幣機器鑄造 銀元 和 銅元 ，之后各省紛紛仿效。共有十九個省局鑄造，除中央戶部，地方省所鑄銅元，皆在其正面上緣鐫寫省名。
Guangxu Yuanbao was one of the currencies circulated during the Qing Dynasty. Zhang Zhidong, governor of Guangdong and Guangdong provinces in Hubei, took the lead in introducing British coin machines to produce silver and copper coins, which were followed by other provinces. There are nineteen provincial bureaus casting. Except for the central household department, the copper coins cast by local provinces are all inscribed on the upper margin of their fronts.

云南省造光緒元寶距今已有百年的歷史，因其表面氧化程銀銹色，給人一種歲月凝重的滄桑感。然而，盡管如此，錢幣的幣面的圖案依然保存完整，錢幣的反面外圈刻有“云南省造庫平三錢六分”幾個楷體小字，內圈則清晰可見“光緒元寶”四個大字，背面鑄有一條盤龍。字跡清晰深俊，銀質優良，錢文精美，十分耐賞。整體幣面造型較為分明，且布局和諧，堪稱精品。此枚光緒元寶位移30度，包漿自然，品相極好，設計考究，鑄工精良，流通幣中cuo版幣是非常稀少的，具有極高的歷史價值與學術價值，并且目前收藏價值和升值空間極高。
Yuanbao of Yunnan Province has a history of one hundred years. Because of its silver rust surface oxidation process, it gives people a sense of years of solemn vicissitudes of life. Nevertheless, the design of the coin surface is still intact. On the reverse side of the coin, several small italic characters are inscribed with the words "Yunnan Provincial Treasury Making Level Three Qian Six Points", while on the inner side, four big characters "Guangxu Yuan Bao" are clearly visible, and a pan-dragon is cast on the back. The handwriting is clear, deep and handsome, the silver quality is excellent, the Qian Wen is exquisite, and it is very durable. The overall shape of the currency surface is clear, and the layout is harmonious, so it can be called a fine product. This Guangxu Yuanbao has a displacement of 30 degrees, natural pulping, excellent quality, exquisite design, excellent foundry, and very few misprinted coins in circulation. It has a very high historical and academic value. At present, it has a very high collection value and appreciation space.
