孫小頭民國三十年
民國二十五年(1936年)1月11日國民政府公布《輔幣條例》，第—條規定了輔幣之鑄造專屬于中央造幣廠。第二條規定了鎳輔幣成色為純鎳。以孫中山先生側像所鑄之鎳幣，從1936年開鑄到1943年停鑄，國內外造幣廠共計鑄造了20余種面值字體書寫不同，而版式及其材質亦有差異的流通輔幣。幣值上包括伍分、拾分、十分、廿分等，其中民國十分孫像鎳輔幣系民國二十九年，由重慶造幣廠鑄造。民國三十年，繼續批量生產，民國三十一年生產量逐步減少，直至停產。
In the twenty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1936), on January 11, the National Government promulgated the Regulations on Auxiliary Currency, which stipulates that the coinage of Auxiliary Currency is exclusively owned by the Central Mint. Article 2 stipulates that nickel coins are pure nickel. From 1936 to 1943, the nickel coins coined by Sun Yat-sen's side image were ceased to be coined. Over 20 kinds of face value fonts were coined by domestic and foreign mints with different writing styles and materials. Among them, the ten Sun-like nickel coins of the Republic of China were coined by the Chongqing Mint in the 29th year of the Republic of China. During the 30 years of the Republic of China, mass production continued, and in the 31 years of the Republic of China, production gradually decreased until production stopped.

此枚孫像鎳輔幣便系民國三十年所產，其正面為孫中山先生側面像和民國紀年，背面為布幣圖及面值。圖案設計精美字體清秀，正面圖案沿用的是船洋的孫中山先生側面像，背面為中國傳統的古布幣圖案，正背兩面沿邊雕回形紋(中國傳統古老圖案寓意吉祥)，此幣面緊密平滑，工藝精良工整且版式恒定，在所有鎳幣中，其文字、紋飾、乃至人物頭像的眉毛、眼皮、胡子等細微部，都刻劃得非常精細而十分清晰。包漿自然熟舊，有流通的痕跡。
