本公司有幸征集到四川銅幣直徑3.9厘米，重20g，錢幣正面中書“四川銅幣”四字，珠圈上緣書“軍政府造”四字，下緣標(biāo)明幣值“當(dāng)制錢壹百文”，左右飾以花星紋飾。背面中央大圓圈內(nèi)為一篆書“漢”字，“漢”字底有數(shù)十條橫直紋，因而錢幣收藏者也稱之為“漢”字銅元。“漢”字圓圈外還環(huán)繞有18個(gè)小圓圈，代表當(dāng)時(shí)的十八個(gè)省份。此幣錢文書寫規(guī)矩，布局協(xié)調(diào)，端莊大方，筆劃清晰，筆力遒勁，間隔有距。觀察其銹相，但見此藏品表面黝黑包漿銹色，斑駁凝重，銹漿十分緊實(shí)，分布自然，此四川銅幣包漿渾厚，甚為難得，值得收藏。在推翻封建王朝建立民國的過程中，軍政府曾發(fā)揮過重要作用，使得四川銅幣的歷史意義更加不凡。而此枚銅幣鑄造精美，工藝精湛，雕工極好，浮雕感很強(qiáng)，歲月的痕跡更為其增添了幾分沉靜和古樸的質(zhì)感。其發(fā)行量較少，流通時(shí)間較短，現(xiàn)今存世量亦較少，集藏四川銅幣已經(jīng)成為收藏家們眼中的熱門幣種。錢幣雖小，亦可管窺當(dāng)時(shí)社會(huì)文化一斑，質(zhì)地渾厚有實(shí)感，收藏價(jià)值附帶著特殊的歷史意義。清代銀幣、紙鈔、銅幣并行，至嘉慶年間發(fā)行新式銀元，而光緒年間鑄行金、銀幣更多。洋務(wù)運(yùn)動(dòng)也影響到鑄幣業(yè)，兩廣總督張之洞曾于光緒十三年（1887年）委托使英大臣在英國訂購全套造幣機(jī)器，并在廣東錢局首鑄機(jī)制銀元和銅元。其后，各省紛紛仿效，購制國外機(jī)械鑄造銀、銅元。包括廣東錢局在內(nèi)，許多造幣機(jī)均訂購自著名的英國倫敦伯明翰造幣有限公司。英國大工業(yè)的介入，使銀幣也沾染上西方色彩。錢幣正面鮮然可見滿漢文化的融合，而錢背卻明確標(biāo)示了西方文化的介入。

In the 13th year of Guangxu (1887), the Governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, Zhang Zhidong, commissioned British ministers to order a complete set of minting machines in Britain and to make the first silver and copper coins in the Guangdong Money Bureau. Since then, provinces have followed suit and purchased foreign machinery to cast silver and copper coins. Many coin machines, including the Guangdong Money Bureau, are ordered from the famous Birmingham Mint Company in London, England. The intervention of big British industries has stained silver coins with western colors. Coin front rarely shows the integration of Manchu and Chinese culture, while money back clearly indicates the intervention of western culture.
