經濟學基礎
經濟是什么”這個問題并沒有什么神秘之處。無論我們談論的是洛杉磯經濟、美國經濟，還是全世界的經濟，經濟只不過是在生活中相互交易的人們所組成的群體而已。由于一個經濟行為反映了組成這個經濟的個人的行為，因此我們的經濟學研究就從個人做出的決策的四個原理開始。
原理一：人們面臨權衡取舍。
原理二：某種東西的成本是為了得到它所放棄的東西。
原理三：理性人考慮邊際量。
原理四：人們會對激勵做出反應
"What is the economy is there is no mystery. Whether we talk about the Los Angeles economy, the US economy, or the world's economy, the economy is just a group consisting of people who trade in life. Since an economic behavior reflects the behavior of this economy, our economics research begins with the four principles of the decision of individuals.
Principle 1: People face the trade-offs.
Principle 2: The cost of a certain thing is to get what it gives up.
Principle 3: The rational person considers marginal quantity.
Principle 4: People will respond to incentives
前四個原理討論了個人如何做出決策。在我們的人生路途中，我們的許多決策不僅影響我們自己，而且會影響到其他人。以下三個原理是關于人們如何相互影響的。
原理五：貿易可以使每個人的狀況都變得更好。
原理六：市場通常是組織經濟活動的一種好方法。
原理七：政府有時可以改善市場結果。
The first four principles discussed how individuals made decisions. In our way of life, many of our decisions not only affect our own, but also affect others. The following three principles are how people have interactive.
Principle 5: Trade can make everyone's condition better.
Principle Six: The market is usually a good way to organize economic activities.
Principle Seven: Government can sometimes improve market results.
我們從討論個人如何做出決策開始，然后考察人們如何相互影響。所有這些決策和相互影響共同組成了“經濟”。最后三個原理涉及整體經濟的運行。
原理八：一國的生活水平取決于它生產物品與勞務的能力。
原理九：當政府發行了過多貨幣時，物價上漲。
原理十：社會面臨通貨膨脹與失業之間的短期權衡取舍。
We start with how to discuss how people make decisions, and then inspect how people have interactive. All of these decisions and mutual influences together form an "economy". The last three principles involve the overall economy.
Principle 8: The living standard of a country depends on its ability to produce goods and services.
Principle 9: When the government has released too much currency, prices rose.
Principle 10: Society is facing short-term trade-offs between inflation and unemployment.
